I've photographed ballrooms that cost more than most people's homes, and banquet halls in the bylanes of Mumbai. In every single one of them, I find myself searching for the same two faces in the crowd. The mother straightening her saree a little too many times. The father who hasn't sat down all evening but suddenly goes very quiet in one corner.

WeddNextDoor is a wedding photography and cinematic films company based in Mumbai. It was founded by Prateek in 2015 and relaunched in 2026 as a complete wedding experience company, covering weddings, pre wedding shoots, engagements and every ceremony in between.
We photograph Maharashtrian, North Indian, Gujarati and Marwari, South Indian, Christian and Buddhist weddings, along with haldi, mehendi, sangeet, engagement and pre wedding shoots. Knowing each community's rituals is how we are in position before the important moments happen.
Both, weighted towards candid. We run a short, organised session for the family portraits and spend the rest of the day documenting the wedding as it happens, without staging moments.
Yes. The same team shoots the photographs and the cinematic film, so the two never compete for the same spot. Couples receive a teaser, a highlight film and, if they want it, a full length edit.
Yes. We regularly shoot across Navi Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan, and travel for destination weddings, such as a three day celebration we filmed in Igatpuri.
